After initially being very quick to host the anemones (while drip acclimating) I was very excited about watching the symbiotic relationship.

However soon after putting them into the main tank, they had an encounter with my Bunodosoma Cavernata that made them think twice about their relationship with anemones... In fact, they wouldn't go near either one.

But now, finally a little more than 2 weeks after the incident, they've decided to overcome their fear!

For a minute there I was worried....

Usually when he's like this it's because he's hungry but it might be because he's now been hosted. Prior to the clown hosting him, and while he had a full stomach, he was really bubbled up.

It might also have to do with his size. The GBTA is only as big around as a silver dollar, the clownfish could easitly fit on a quarter.

Thanks for the nice comments. I purchased the GBTA from my LFS for $30 and am so far pretty happy with it. It doesn't eat as well as my BC, and in some ways I think the BC's color is better (You can't see it in the pic but it's almost an iridescent lavenderish color) but the bubble tips and the symbiotic relationship more than make up for it.

Thanks,
