Worm ID?

I came home the other night and turned on the room light to find a strange white creature sticking out of one of my GSP mats, and decided to shoot some video footage.
Can anyone give me an idea as to what this is?

On day i looked at my tank and saw that I have about 20 of them. A harmless filter feeder. digitate hydroid or spionid worm.

Digitate hydroid. They're not always harmless. Some have potent nematocysts that can damage the animals around them. You might want to check your GSP to see if there are any lesions in the areas touched by the hydroid.

there are still a couple of them around. they're still not doing any apparent harm to anything.

I had some of those on one of my small rocks. There were about 3 next to an aiptasia, I boiled it yesterday, I was wondering what they were

Ouch.... boiling rocks is a bad idea. Some inverts like sponges, zoanthids, and other sessile rock dwellers have very potent chemical defenses. There are reports (including some here on RC) where people inhaled or had skin contact with the fumes & developed some very nasty reactions.
