Worm ID?

Just finished transferring everything (except sand and water) from my sumpless 29 gallon to my new reef ready 75 gallon with 55 gallon sump. I left the sand and water in the old 29 gallon over night just in case i missed any snails and saw this worm on the surface of the sand. Trying to decide if it is a common bristle worm or a eunicid or something else. Depending what it is should it be disposed of or tossed into the new tank?

As an unrelated question what should I do with my old sand. Clean it and dry it out for use later or just dump it assuming it will be nothing but trouble no matter what i do with it?

So have you caught this beast yet
Yeah, that picture was actually with it out of the tank and in a Tupperware container. Found it sitting on top of the sand bed in my 29 gallon after i finished transferring my rock and stock to a 75 gallon. Lucky it didn't tag along.

Worms with antennae on the front are usually bad guys.
Worms that are about 90% antennae, on the other hand, are usually just peanut or spaghetti worms.
