BTW... anyone that looks at my live webcam will see streaks on the glass....
I just spent the last 4 hours cleaning inside the tank. I'll clean the glass tomorrow, mom.

getting ready to plumb the 120 in huh? when do you think it's going to start? And where is the 120 going to reside? (sorry if its already mentioned and i missed it)
It's ok... I have my post per page set to 50... so I only see x # pages.. so I know it is hard to scroll back and rewind hundreds of threads.
If you look at my tank from the front I am going to "L" off it with a 120. Same height stand. Under this I am going to put a NEW 75g sump.
Under the 180 will be basically empty, except for ATO storage, reactors, bed, Skimmer... Under the 120 will JUST be the sump. This will give me the option to leave the side off of it and have it viewable as a display refuguium. When I put in the RDSB it will be behind the 120 so it will be hidden and out of "What is this?" hands.
It is funny I select the music for my videos and play it all the way through to make sure there are no inappropriate words or sounds... Then I play it again to see what lines up. One of them it started up right as the SUN was coming up in the tank and some of the fish were moving along with it... You will have to look back and see it, I can't remember which one.

I like the idea of the 'L' with 2 tanks. So you're going to be able to view the 120 from 3 sides right? Are you going to try and create the illusion of one complete display tank with the aquascaping and style, or going to go different with the inhabitants and make up of the 120?
IDK yet... the join spot will be the return/overflow area. Only because I do not want that on the other end. YES, though, it will be visible from three sides.
I was half way thinking to pop two more holes (5 total) on that one short side and put a closed loop in the 120.
But I need more ideas and all so I can draw/visualize it.

You already have the 120 right? No way to drill a hole for a central overflow?
I was going to make a beananimal overflow off the side. Then WAS thinking of putting two more holes in the same side to pipe in a closed loop.
After looking at some CL stuff, IDK if I want to do that to the 120. More afraid of cracking that side and losing it all together.
