OK.. SO... Come on... lets get some discussion and comments running then.

These are all scaled to 800 pixels. The original are 6000x4000 (yeah they really are that large) at like 4 megs a piece.

So a lot of detail is lost. For those that do not have large screens I did not want to do too much overload, ya know.

Nice photos. The one with the two snails and the star cracks me up. Looks like they posed for it.

I keep telling myself that I won't get into taking pictures once the system is up and running, but seeing all the great photos makes me think that I'm just fooling myself. Hmm, my wife did mention that she'd like a really nice camera in the near future for our daughter's musical performances. Perhaps I can kill two birds with one stone. :D

Great job with the photos. They came out really well!! Love the one of the star fish.

Isn't it always the way, take hundreds of photos with just a small number being usable?

Killing the wife is against the law.

OK to the person that posted that they have been watching this thread (I cant find the post again): Thanks...

I searched but can not find that thread to tell you thanks.

If you, or anyone else, has questions or special requests, for pictures or video's, just ask.

I'm a chemist. I could get creative.

Just kidding, of course. Been together about 27 years. But, I'm hoping that she gets a little more understanding about this entire project. The promised kitchen renovation in the future should go a long way to help rectify the situation.

How often and what do you feed the rit?

Right now I feed it every 6th-7th day. Usually on Friday.

Tonight it had scallop. Last time it had Shrimp.

I switch between scallop, shrimp, and flounder. I am getting ready to be out of flounder so I am going to switch to clams.

I was feeding it every 3rd day. But realized it had to digest it and that was more than three days.

It purches all over the place. Lately when I do maintenance on the tank and turn off the MP40's it starts clean it off. Then when I turn it back on it runs real quick. I have to check to make sure it is not IN it all the time.

Yeah... I am divorced. So that kitchen upgrade, went to the fish tank upgrade. HAHAHAHA...

Very very nice pictures!
Thanks! Just a few. I took some more this evening. I am uploading them now. I'll post them when they get done.

Sorry for the jump in posts. It took a while to upload those pictures.

Here are a few more. The anemone is eating some scallop in the ritteri picture.

Great photos man!! Love the GIFS out of the burst sets!

Yeah me too.. I uploaded them to Google Picasa and it did it for me on it's own.. I did not know it would do that.

I have uploaded like 200 pictures over the last 2 days. Kinda neat. The desktop version of picasa would make a movie but with a 1 sec split between each image. Not what I want after seeing those...

OK...

Question for you tank people... I will post this also in the DIY section for comment.

I have a dual corner overflow ML 180. Two returns and Two drains. Right now they are 1" pipes, each.

I was thinking (run with me for a minute)...

Take and plump two 1.5" return pipes to hang over the edge in the back, or over the corners to go out the same holes. Take the now 4 1" pipes and makes them returns. I could even do a Split beananimal with two on one side and two on the other. That would give me two emergency drains instead of the one.

I have seen this done successfully. They used all of the holes as drains and had a single return line over the top of the tank. It is pretty much a beananimal with just pipes-no durso.
