Would like to add Sailfin Tang!

Tank is 96x36x36 and already has several Tangs. A Yellow, Purple, Black Spot (Bariene), Vlamingii and Blonde Naso have been in the tank approximately 6 months. What is the chance of success with adding a Salifin Tang or any other Tangs for that matter. Tank also has several other fish but don't believe they would cause any problems. Thank you!

Thats a 540g right? I was going to get the same tank but decided to go just a bit taller. I dont see a problem adding a sailfin to the mix. Ive got 7 tangs (powder blue, 3 yellows, purple, kole, and hippo) in my 600g and they get along just fine.

You're going to be pushing it with 3 Zebrasoma's in the same tank. It could work for a while, but be prepared to remove some fish if necessary. I've got a similar tank (96x36x30) and I had to remove my yellow tang because once the Sailfin got big (it's about 9" and grew quick) it didn't like the yellow much.

well after 6 years with my sailfin in a 7x2 i added a purple and all has been well for about 2 years now and bear in mind the sailfin was an 8-9" rescue when i got him about 6 years ago also bear in mind my sailfin has never really cared if a new fish was in the tank (of any kind) so it just could be my sailfin is just extremely mild mannered and thick from eating like a pig where he was paper thin when he was given to me to try to save(left in a bucket in front of the lfs in the winter) with a sever case of head/lateral so bad in fact he is permanently deep scared around the eyes
