Would Male Blue Throat Triggerfish Thrive without a Femal?

Hi everyone!

I have a 180g reef tank with Yellow Tang, Whitecheek Tang, Bellus Angelfish and a few small fish. I just purchased Blue Throat Triggerfish from Diver's Den. I wonder if he needs to have a female to be happy? "He will be OK" is not good enough. I want him to thrive.

they are sold seperately all the time, he will be fine. In fact i think he will be happy to have the extra room

That's what I thought. Initially I wanted to have a couple, but a male is so beautiful and a female is so plain... I would rather have fewer fish.

BTW, Diver's Den sells bounded pairs. Just today one pair was sold.
