Would the 24 gallon Nano Cube be good for a 'pus?

I'm thinking of using the 24 gallon Nano Cube for an octopus from octopets.com.

I'm thinking of making an acrylic cover to seal the top so it can't get into the back part where the pump is.

Anyone using one or have any thoughts?

Sorry, but a nanocube is far too small for a bimac. A 50 gallon tank would be more appropriate.

The filtration on the nanocube is not adequate for an octopus - you'll need a protein skimmer, too.

def go with a 50 or larger for the bimacs, look at octopets or fishsupply both get them tank raised from the same source

there are some dwarf ones that would be fine im assuming cant remember the exact scientific name u might need to ask dr. roy

This tank should be idea for O. mercatoris. This is a dwarf species that gets no larger than a golf ball. Females are often found this time of year on the Gulf Coast of Florida brooding eggs. There ya go

Are any of the small species that can be kept in the 24g cube captive bred?

I looked at Octopets, and they don't have any small ones.

Someday I would like to keep an oct but I want it to be captive bred. When I move I can get a large tank and could have a bimac then. If there are captive bred ones that would work in a 20g, or the cube, I could get one now.
