Would these lights be sufficient for the more light dependant anemones?

Absolutely! I've got one being shipped to me tomorrow morning. Great light and I can use only one on my 40b. 3 will be fine for your tank. Go down the forum list to Ocean Revive and look in there. I did a thread yesterday on them and have some videos in the thread.

There is a guy in the selling section that had two of them for sale. I bought one of them so he has one more left. They're new in box never opened. $175 shipped. If you look around most are $199

i guess that all depends on what you want/expect from youre light sysytem. will it work im sure it would work. will you say they are the best lights you have ever owned and 5 years later still say the same thing? highly doubtful.
i know i am saying these radion xr 30's are the best lights i have ever owned and they are 5 years old and probably still some of the best lights on the market today

Yes bws you would be absolutely correct at triple the cost of the Ocean Revive Arctic T-247

And yet you didn't answer the question of the OP.

will it work im sure it would work.... looks like i did answer though.. i clearly said I am sure it will work.. is it that great of a deal? i dont know... is it a good deal if the cheap lights burn out and need to be replaced 2-3 times over a 5-6 year time span? you end up with the same amount invested in the long run. its all a matter of choice. from my past expierences you get exactly what you pay for. you cant expect to buy the cheapest thing you can find and have the same results as if you buy the best thing on the market... but thats just my opinion and we all know how opinions go.. the op asked for opinions and i gave him mine. regardless if you liked my answer or not dkuhlmann

Lmao They most certainly are not the cheapest option available, that would fall to the Chinese black box. I didn't say that I liked or disliked your answer. I guess this on both sides falls under some things are best left unsaid.

I do however agree with buying quality, but not at the expense of being ridiculous. For instance with all of my fishing gear I buy quality so I am not replacing it every year or two. If maintained many mid range products will last a lifetime as they were built to do. So the cost of something and the quality of something are all in ones perspective as well as the size of their wallet. I've not worked since last June due to a lot of problems with my spine, so my money is tight to say the least. I'm also going to have a second surgery in March on my spine so there will be another 12 week healing process from that point so again no work or income for another 6 months. So my perspective is to buy a quality product in the middle of the road and get good performance for the life of that product which in this case is said to be 50,000 hours.

Not everyone can afford $600-$1200 or more just for lights, even though they are one of the most important pieces of our reef tanks puzzle.

I get what your saying BWS but it sounds like your judging this particular fixture on other light's past performances. I liked this fixture because of the price AND that if it does break there is a warranty and even if it breaks out of warranty the company will work with me to fix the issue whether they send me new parts or they replace the light for a fraction of the cost.
