It's a big skimmer for less than 100 bucks, a pump and prime shipping. Give it a shot?

Looks like a piece of junk to me. I think you'll get what you pay for, a $80 skimmer, give or take.

I cheap out on gear a lot, but I wouldn't want to put that motor in my tank. Like a previous poster commented, your money would be better spent going towards a quality used skimmer.

Looks like the aquatraders odyssea skimmer. If you are going to pull the trigger on that, I would consider changing out the pump. Even with that, im sure the skimmer it self is probably cheaply made. I had an odyssea skimmer and had to reseal it twice. It worked well though. I know a pet store that uses them on their systems and they work pretty good.

Aquarium equipment and skimmers are, in general, over priced for what they are, but a decent pump will easily cost more than that entire skimmer, even discounted, which makes me very suspicious.
