Would you put this frag in your tank?

I bought a red milli frag from an online vendor and the side of it looks sketchy.
I do not have any pests (AEFW, red bugs, etc.) in my tank and I want to keep it that way.

My eyes aren't what they used to be and even with a magnifying glass I can not tell if there are pests.

What do you all think?

It kind of looks like a damaged spot, maybe from cutting, that is healing over. I would dip for sure though.

I am dipping it now.
I am using Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure and will examine the container to see if anything has come off.

Sean, you should know more than anyone as you're all over those old AEFW threads ;)

I would cut off the healthy part and ditch the rest if it was me

True.
Which is why I stayed away frrom acros for several years and am just now getting back into them.

What do you thing about supergluing over the area or grinding it out with a dremel?

I decided to err on the side of caution and not introduce the possibilities of pests in the tank.
I've been free of all of them for years and it's been nice. :)

I'd cut it to the healthy portion then place it on the plug, on top of a dip.

Revive and Iodine. Aside from that, the frag looks perfectly healthy.

Smart man.. I wont put anything in my tank again without holding it in the QT first with plenty of dipping.. I've been down that road..
