$450,000? Where did you come up with that? As a rule of thump tank setup costs including LR generally comes out around $30/gallon. IMOP larger tanks generally calculate out less on the per gallon price so I would guess that his tank is around the $18000 setup price. I doubt that he has $430,000 worth of livestock.
 
go to deltec usa and marinedepot and price out what equiment that the have and if you paid 4.00 lb for live rock that would be 4800.00.
