I bought a pair of mated clowns from a swap meet. Recently I bought a really cool looking green Anenomoe from a reef store in Chicago.
Immediatly, the anenome hosted the clowns. That's cool.....and was expected.
Now, here's the really cool thing.
I've been feeding the fish flake and the smaller pellet foods. I found some brine shrimp pellets (the larger ones), dropped it into the tank and watched. Immediately the female clown immediately grabbed it and 'fed' it to the anenome. I swear to god, it took the pellet in it's mouth, swam over the anenome, burried it's head and I put the shrimp pellet near the anenome's mouth.
I initially thought that that was a coincidence. So, I dropped another shrimp pellet, and the same thing happened.
Wow.
First time I think I've ever seens a clown 'deliver' food to the anenome. :bum:
