Very cool is there anything that you did to help? Or do cleaners do this regular in aquariums. Iv got 10 of these guys in mine and would love for them to start breeding. My snails like to breed hehe.
na it's natural for them to pair up. If you where to breed, the larvae have to make it thou 4+ stages and it takes 120 days. Doubtful you'll see kids. My fish literally lined up waiting for the larvae to go into the water column.
there hermaphrodites for sure, read about there breeding today, when one molts its shell is soft, apperently thats the only time the ' female' can except sperm
Smaller shrimp possess male organs. As they mature they develop female organs while still retaining the function of the male organs. That is why mature pairs can fertilize each other. At least 8 larval stages. Timing to settlement is subjective. Mine took 150 days or so.
