I would think Max would want a bit more then just the shark pond and fish room done prior to openning. I would suspect he'd want Dr Dre's tanl up and running as well since it's connected to the shark pond

I went and met Max today for the first time. Man, what a cool guy!! That place is going to be freakin' unbelievable!!! I thought I was getting extra special treatment for being an out of towner, but he's like that with everyone!!!! He took about an hour of his busy day to show me around and talk about his vision/plan. Can't wait for the place to open-the 2 hour drive won't be anything to go visit the place! All of you in SJ are going to be very fortunate to have a place like Aquatic Showroom to visit and shop. Us folks up here in Sac will have to do frequent road trips.

I love the guy, he's the most friendly and easy to talk to owner I know. Happy to hear he pulled through and was able to open it up.

Not only did he pull through, he's putting together a place that will be like no other. I've been telling all my reefin' friends here in Sac about the place. This place is going to be like no other. Can't wait....anyone confirming May 1st?

Hey scuba I got a similar sump like yours a while back when Max was closing shop in fremont.

Well i was at max's place during the weekend , he said he's aiming for May 1st. Right now he has the 4 100 gallon reef tanks running and 4 long cubicles tanks running with some fishes.

Just had a chat with Max and GentleMinh is right. Looks like a soft opening in May. I just can't believe they are building a pirates ship. Don't forget to ask Max about the secret rooms with all the cherry corals for his special customers.
