wp40 4500 gph powerhead for $90

some of you guys may have seen this thread on the frag forum but if you havent it is an interesting read. I was saving some duckies to get a mp40 but now Im thinking about just picking up one of these things.

looks like a tunze/vortech Chinese hybrid that puts out between 1500 to 4500 gph and only costs $90.

Only problem I see is the flow being too much. In wave mode it is 4500 gph with no adjustment

I had 1 in my cart today but i canceled for that reason. From what i read on the thread they will probably have a mod for it by the end of the week ant then its wave time

So, whats the verdict after trying the WP40? Do they come smaller?

Yes they have a wp25 that works perfect for smaller tanks. I have one in my 60 gallon and I'm about to put one on my new 45 gallon. They are cheap so it's worth a try for those on the fence.
