Wrasse Dominant Tank Combo

Quick update. I ordered a lineatus, angular flasher, and yellow coris. I'm picking them up this weekend.

Any special acclimatiom tips to be aware of? Also, what would be signs of swim bladder issues on the lineatus?

First signs of swim bladder issues are increased bouyancy, a shimmy while swimming, swimming with head oriented down, and after a few days a bulge 2/3s down the body where the swim bladder is.

It is possible to solve the issue by piercing the gas bubble with a sterilized needle., but most lineatus dont have this problem.

super male pink margin looks almost identical to a super male lint. i never had a issue with mystery wrasse's bothering other wrasse's faily/flasher or halicoris species, my last mystery once it started getting bigger went into my friends 300g that has around 25 fairy/flashers, 2 melanarus, some other large wrasse, a harl tusk and the mystery is now probably close to 6" as wide as a golf ball and doesnt bother anyone. btw tang has tangs angels gobies blennies and other fish and is a sps dom tank, btw for the fairy/flashers there are about 12 different species in there

I think not.

Ended up getting

1 Lineatus fairy
1 Lubbock fairy
1 Filamented Flasher
1 yellow coris wrasse

And one risky but gorgeous little potters angel!

That's a great mix of Wrasses! Hope you get the Potter's acclimated and eating :)

He's eating like a pig! Frozen food and picking at the rocks. Definitely most eye catching fish in the tank.

But also, pictures do not do the Lubbock justice. They look so much better in person.

Agreed
Where did you get your Lineatus? What size?
Pics?

I got all the fish at Your Reef in Scaramento, CA. Great little store, they also have an online store that is pretty nice. The lineatus is a little over three inches and I picked it up for $125. Colors are pretty nice, but a little light possibly due to shipping and stress. I'll work on getting some pics.

The tank is so vibrant with all the wrasses now I can't stop staring at it.

Next on the list is a yellow fin flasher and a pair of clowns....after that I'm maxed out.

Yellow fin is my favorite flasher.

I'm jealous. I've never seen a linatus or rhomboid at any of the LFS here.

I've never seen them stocked either. I had them special order it for me after receiving their quote. Very reasonable price IMO and nice quality to boot!
