It's getting hot, and I am thinking it will be more cost effective and comfortable (for me!) to get an air conditioner for my apartment than constantly run 8 fans. Maybe I'll only need 4 with A/C.

Anyone have a casement / slider mount air conditioner they want to get rid of? I need the kind that will mount on a horizontal sliding window.

just hang out at costco. Only cost about $40 for the membership and you can sample a bunch of different things.LOL

Fry's has a portable one for $299

I am using 9000 BTU a/c and it hardly cool down my room. Good luck trying to cool down your apartment with that A/C.
