WTB Gigantea carpet anemone

Now he gives a ridiculous response saying "they go anywhere from $500-900 online" when he had that post up last year for the cost of $200. Ive seen nicer blue ones go for 200, dunno what hes smoking to expect to get anywhere near his asking amount.

Aqua pros now pro reef corals gets them all the time when in season. Usually sub 200 for the blue ones. They might not have one but you can tell them and they will get one for yoy

Underwater Worlds in Bensenville has green carpets I think on sale for $50. Was there today and they have several in stock.

I will sell one of my purples from my 75 gallon tank. $250
It's been through cipro, and I've had it a couple years. It's been crowding my green for a while now, and I've been thinking of moving it anyways. I just made water, and I always age water 24 hours or more, so I'm not pulling it out until tomorrow at the earliest. No rush on my end.
If cost is the hurdle for you, aquapros or the bensenville shop are your best bets for new arrivals.

This morning just as the lights are coming on

last year I think

Wow nice purple, hard to see purple ones around compared to other colors.I got a guy that said he can get me a blue for around 150 if the wholesaler gets one this sunday, might have to wait till then.

No problem. I'm not really interested in trades, I need room. I will start my own FS thread. I listed it on CL also.

I'll pass on my very expensive lesson I learned for free, when you receive your new one, I HIGHLY recommend proactively treating it with cipro before introducing it into your DT. Skimping on less than 100% waterchanges may come back to haunt you. Few can boast about keeping them without treating them upon receipt, maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones. I look forward to pics, I don't see many people post pics of them around me.

I actually have a tan gig as my tester for gigs since it was cheap and yes I had to treat it with cipro and read and researched ALOT of info including the one OrionN posted on reefcentral. So now that I have experience with them I wanted to dive into colorful ones.

Seeing you have the treatment experience, I think getting one from the wholesaler for you, is your best bet. You know what you're in for then. I truly enjoyed "bringing them back from the brink" and the hunt for them. It was very enjoyable to watch them make a comeback and very rewarding, just time consuming.
