Just buy "dry" sand from any LFS or online vendor. Then add a pound or so of live sand from your LFS or friendly neighborhood reefer. The live sand will quickly seed the remainder of your sand bed and you'll be fine.
I'll even volunteer to be the friendly neighborhood reefer and give you some "seed" sand if you have some "new" sand to trade.
On Santa Fe just south of Evans. You can probably get a better deal if you buy more. They were supposed to get in the dry last friday. but you probably can get the live for the same price if not less. It looks good and clean. He said they recycle the sand from the coral tanks.
