WTB - Medium/Large Acrylic tank or sump

As the title says, looking for an acrylic tank to use as a sump for my new 240g. Condition (scratches) are not a big deal as long as it holds water :)

Length: 36" - 72"
Width: 15" - 20"
Height: No more than 20"

If anyone has something in this size range that they'll let go of for under $100 please let me know. Only one side needs to be clear. Will consider glass, but prefer acrylic so I can drill as necessary.

Thanks a million!
Danny

blown63chevy,

Thanks, but all that built in filtration would go to waste for me. Better that someone gets that who will use it as a tank! It's a good size and price....

Thanks Again
Danny

I have a 55 gal glass 48x16x17 I was going to make a sump out of. Has a few scratches but completely resealed and leak tested. $50 in Corona.

If you're interested, I have a large sump 40"x16"x18" made by Socal Creations. But it'll definitely be more than $100. Let me know if you're interested.

I have about 10 48" x 18" x 15" Clear for life tanks....75.00 each...it does have holes drill on each upper corner...but I can patch those easy.

I have a 48x18x20 glass sump. I just took it down and I need to have it removed. No cracks and does not leak. There is a hole which is patched. It can be opened back up and utililized or just left covered. It does not leak at all. I will let it go for $50.00.

I am located near where the 210 and 605 fwy meet. Cheers,

Clint

This sump is too small for your system, however, if you decide to do two sumps (seperate refugium, etc) then it'd be perfect:

36x15x16 $80 firm

Frankly, if I were you, I'd be looking for a 100 gallon/5-foot acrylic tank that is Eurobraced and install two sets of baffles to make three compartments out of it.

Better yet: try to plumb through a wall into your garage, sideyard, or closet...whatever is adjacent to the main tank to make a seperate equipment room. Space under tank stands is just too limiting and space constraining.
Good luck
