Must be stock I dont want some funky moded tank I just got another peice of scrap. This is my last shot at a nano then im just going with a big boy.
Jeremy.

nano's may be hard to come by used

Have you tried your LFS, i know Two turtles sells the JBL Nano 12 gallon delux with the filter top and PC light for a couple hundred.

You may have better luck finding livestock then afterwards

My sons first tank was a nano cube. I wouldnt spend the money on one again. I would get an aga tank, light fixture, and a HOB skimmer.

The display tank in the front of salty critter seems like an awesome basic setup. I think its a 40g breeder with a 250w double end metal halide fixture, and a remora pro skimmer.

My first setup was very much like this one too. It is still up and running as my zoa tank.

It was a great way to start for me.

Standard tank seems to offer a lot more flexibility, and room for growth not only with livestock but also equipment.

Adding anything equipment wise to a nano cube quickly becomes a real pain. I think thats why you find 90% of the used ones are modded with overflows, surface skimmer, etc. It would take a lot of careful cutting to add much of any type of skimmer to it without adding a sump or removing the lid. The curved glass does look nice until you have to clean it.

It's just my opinion
