I would not recommend ordering one via an online company unless they offer a no nonsense 2 week money back policy if the fish doesn't make. I say this because these fish are notorious for being collected poorly due to the depths with which they are collected. Most divers that collect them typically puncture their swim bladder in order to decompress them. This usually leads to the fish dying from Swim bladder infections. I have found that the males tend to be collected in better condition but they are also much harder to come by. You can get two females and in many cases one will eventually turn into a male.
I would strongly recommend that you wait and try to find one at a LFS that you can physically see and make sure that it is healthy. You will want to make sure that the fish is swimming properly and that it is eating. If the fish is having a hard time staying buoyant than it more than likely has swim bladder damage and should be avoided.
Once you get them, you should also keep your lights off for a day or so and start out with short photo periods and then slowly increase the lighting over the course of a week. These are deep water fish and can sometimes fail to accimilate if they are thrown right into a fully lit reef tank.
I understand that they were collected a little better back then.
Exotic Aquatics in your area gets them in ocassionally and they do generally take good care of there livestock so I would check with Rob and see if he can get you a pair.
I've been there/ I will b checkin with some of lfs owners i know-aquariumart may be gettin me a couple hes one of my good friends and wont steer me wrong. Thanks
