WTT: 2 250 watt 14k E39 Halide Bulbs

I am looking to trade 2 of the 3 250 watt 14k halide bulbs that I just received in a trade for one new 20k very blue bulb. I am more into color than growth and although I am temporarily using one of the three I would prefer more blue in my tank and feel that these are def more for growth. They are both still packaged and brand new in box.

If they are brand new bulbs you were using that is likely not the source of your algae outbreak. I doubt if bluer light will rid you of algae. I would look at nutrients as a source first.

these lights have nothing to do with my algae, thats a separate matter. i just want a more blue light because its getting close to when my 10k reeflux bulbs need to be replaced and though they look more like 14k i think i want to go with 20k this time around.
