Ecotech was kind enough to loan me a rev2 WWD to flash my existing two units, since none of the local dealers actually stock or use the pumps. The flash process was uneventful and only took a few minutes as promised.
If anyone local (Phoenix metro area) needs or wants their WWD flashed to rev2 firmware and doesn't want the downtime resulting from sending it to Ecotech, I'm happy to do it. You would just need to bring the driver, the pump can stay mounted in your tank.
