What would you do....

I have an elos mini (20g display volume) that I'm planning to start stocking soon. I'm thinking of upgrading the skimmer. Here are my 2 options:

1) Have a custom sump built for about $100 and run my tunze reefpack 500 on it. This will kind of be a waste of space since I don't really need the extra comline filter, but with a custom sump design I can make it fit. I'm currently running the tunze reefpack on another 20g tank and it's kicking the elos skimmer's butt (which it should). The elos skimmer will then be used on the 20g tank that the tunze is on right now, since it's just a QT tank.

2) Purchase a used tunze 9010 skimmer for ~ $250 + shipping and it should barely fit into my existing sump. Better skimmer, better use of space, but more money! But I will still use the tunze reefpack 500 on my QT tank.

Before anyone suggests the tunze 9002 or some other nano skimmer... don't bother. Been there done that. This tank will be fed heavily and also employs carbon dosing.

You could buy a new skimmer housing part 9010.100 and use the parts from your Reefpack to build a separate skimmer.
