Xaqua INOUT Overflow box reviews?

Raises Hand.

I've used the In/Out twice.

Once 4-5 years ago on an older tank and now, on my current setup (IM Nuvo 30L). The current models are plug and play (with drilling of course) and virtually silent. It's a far cry from the original model that required air tube mods to quiet the gurgling sound.

I definitely consider them a better option than the EShopps overflows "” one of the LFSs in NYC runs EShopps on their frag tanks, and they're much much louder.

Thanks. I am looking at a 125 gallonish tank, possible from Cadlights or Red Sea or Miracles for example, and if the manufacturer can just drill two holes up top, one on each side that it would be much cleaner looking and give me real estate back in the tank.

Yep, the lack of overflow tower frees up a lot of space, and the unit itself will largely be seamless / invisible if you have a black background on the tank.

One thing I do wish I had done was to drill the drain on the opposite end of the tank from the return. Both occupy one corner of the tank alongside my gyre and it makes me wonder if they make it a bit harder for waste to reach the sump.

Cool, thanks for the info. I wonder why this isn't more popular, it seems almost too easy if you could get the holes cut in your tank for this.
