XM 10k 250 MH bulbs for trade (2 of them)

Hey all,

I am sick of these new bulbs. I picked them up from John about 4 weeks ago and they are way too yellow for my taste. I would be willing to trade them with somebody who had closer to 14k light of comparable bulb 'quality', with verified usage of less than 3 mos or so (I am not trying to replace new bulbs with ones that need to be replaced tomorrow).

On a side note, almost all my corals have experienced phenomenal growth and polyp expansion - especially the LPS, just look yellow under these lights.

i have 3 - 14K hamiltons. 5 months old, but only 4 hours a day. during my tank cycling.

what ballast did you run the XMs off of ? Ours looks pretty white off of our HQI ballasts, is why I am asking, but most people look at a white light compared to a blue one and the white will start to look yellow to them

The ballast are unknown, but I want to think they are Hamilton Techs (magnetic,)

drdoolittle, I will keep you in mind. Are you using them now? Also, you live in Tracey, do you make your way to Sac anytime?

No, Im not using it anymore. I changed it XM 10K.

Yeah, mind is pretty white. Then I added extra Actinic to make it a little blue/white.
