XM 150 watt 15k DE

Anyone have experience with this bulb. I need a replacement for the 10k that came with the outer orbit fixture.

I heard it has a nice blue tint but not as blue as a 20k

they are worthless get the 20 k it looks better I have owned both... call XM theyll tell you the same if you want the 15k get the 20 youll be happier and xm 20k are not blue at all they have a nice ice white with a hint of magenta and purple great bulb for the 150w de I had great color and groth from my corals

I think that we get ripped off in this hobby. Look at the price of these bulbs. I would love to experiment with different K values and manufacturers but it is too expensive.

My other option was a phoenix 15k. Anyone comment please?

I have an outer orbit fixture with 2 x 130 watt PC/actinic to supplement.

Hey Brian - saw your post tonight and thought I should clarify our conversation from this afternoon. My experience is with the XM15K SE. I missed that you were asking about DE bulbs.
