Quick, probably dumb, question... sorry.

Do I need to lubricate the cup's o ring so that it will go into the cone's collar, or does it just sit on the o ring. It looks like it needs to be pushed down, but it doesn't want to go. Some silicon grease would probably do the trick but I don't want to break it.

Silicone grease will work just fine on that, just don't cake it on really heavy, to where it's sloppy and getting inside the riser when messing with it. HTH!
