I have a 75gal with a YS marron clown, 4 anenomes and couple of more fishes.. I think it is a female because how aggresive it is. (very aggresive) :). it is about 2 inches.. I would like to add another one,, but how i make sure it is a female.. can just add another o do i really need to know its sex????..thnks

ok so this is what you should do. the maroon is most likely a female because clowns turn into females over time when kept alone. you should just get a much smaller maroon. that will either be a non gender and turn into a male or a male. even if your maroon is a male, males should get along fine and eventually, one will turn into a female. but if yours if a female and you get another female, one of thems a dead fish. so your best bet is to get a much smaller maroon.

I would get the smallest maroon you can find. I would not place him in the tank with your current maroon.
Maroons are different and will fight until one of them is badly injured or dead. Place the new maroon in a container so the fish can see each other but not get at each other.
You can also put your maroon in the container and let the new guy into the tank. You should watch them interact over a period of a few days to a week and see what they do. Watch for aggression and submissive behavior while they are seperated.
If the larger maroon is not trying to break through the container then I would release them both into the tank but be ready to pull one out in case it doesn't go well.
