Hi Guys
i got a 125 gal saltwater tank 46x26x26. so its a tall tank.
i got about 60lbs live rock and about 10-12 different kinds of soft corals mostly juat a bit over a frag and growning. tanks been setup for 1 yr and 3 months. fish: i have 2 yellow tangs 1 poweder brown and 5 clarki clowns.
they all seem to get along accept for yellow tangs. one is very dominent and everytime i add a fish it attakcs it for few days and then calm down. it did the same with clows and last week when i added the powder brown it gave it hell for first day then left her alone.
while all this second yellow tangs is always being stressed and picked on. she doesnt have any markds or fins missing or nithing like that but gets shuved and pushed by the first yellow tang.
what can i do to reduce this aggression? i have heard to add another yellow tang to the tank does that really help? thirdly i wanna add a blue hippo to this tank should i add 1 or 2 to reduce stress. i have tried adding just 1 hippo before and it always dies in 2 days. help and ideas anyone

OMG, please don't add anymore tangs to this tank! Not to sound mean, but you should probably not have ANY tangs in a tank this size (46x24) let alone 3 and adding 4 more. You MIGHT be able to get away with JUST the ONE yellow tang. Not 3. And DEFINITELY not a hippo (or 2 or 3). The 3rd yellow tang you want to add will solve nothing and only make matters worse. The footprint is too small to accomodate a hippo and or the powder brown.

That many clowns are liable to fight eventually as well, might want to be prepared to take some of them out.

thanks guys. i hate to accept the reality but its either that or lose fish.
125 gal is definately not enough for all the fish i want in it. i am very seriously looking into a 1000 gal tank if anyone knows where to get on plese let me know.
thanks

Really your two choices are to get rid of some of the fish (the clownfish will likely kill themselves off to just two eventually), or to get that bigger tank.

While a gallonage upgrade is good, the most important dimension is length. For tangs, long is always better.
