Yellow Tang With Lipstick

It's not my fish so I can't give you guys a pic but what does it mean when a yellow tang has red lips? I've heard of them getting red bloches but the guy says it looks great except for red lips. Any thoughts

I'll try but I doubt it. He say it looks perfect but it has bright red lips that look a bit irritated

Are you feeding it the red seaweed selects? When mine eats a lot of the green it gets green lips for a short time.

as far as the tang goes, I've never heard of such a thing. If it were me, I would rather find a perfectly healthy fish!

If the fish is eating a lot of red nori just stop a few days or switch to green to see if there is any change.

It sounds like bacterial infection, imo. I wouldn't go dosing with antibiotics or anything just yet but you may want to have a QT prepared and ready, as well as have some good antibiotics in mind.
