Hopefully. I think this is different than clownfish though. To my knowledge, most (all?) of the operations that produced large numbers of clownfish ended up shutting down because they were unable to make any money at the price point the fish go for.
If a large investment is necessary to produce yellow tangs (huge tanks), then the price point is going to have to rise drastically until it becomes profitable. Although I think there's always a market at the extreme high end, I'm not sure the price at which producing yellow tangs in bulk becomes profitable is low enough for most people to still be interested.
