Yellow Watchman Goby Injured Mouth?

Wasn't sure where to put this thread...

I've had a YWG for about 2 weeks now. Today I noticed his mouth looked weird. Kinda open, not the usual grumpy look. He's eating. I'm just not sure what it is or what could have happened! Pics:

Any insight would be appreciated. I'll be keeping my eye on him in the meantime.

Definitely looks damaged. If he is still eating, that's a good sign. Keep an eye out for infection, if he stops eating or it looks like it's getting worse and not healing, I would remove him and treat with an antibiotic.

I had one who's lower jaw split right down the middle. He had a little trouble eating but could eat. I started soaking the food in Selcon and it slowly got better. He was going strong until he jumped.

Vitamins supposedly. Good additive for food. I generally used it 1-2 times per week when feeding.

Do you have a blenny like bi color. I have those two in the same tank and they locked jaws a few times but once I added my pistol shrimp. The bi color left him alone.

I didn't at the time. Maybe was a clown in there? I did end up losing him. One of the weirder things to ever happen to any of my livestock.
