Complete loss of the red planet now �� RTN over night
Tank still not stable.
3rd 25 gal water change now
Pram all look right.
Still a few sps hanging in there .
Funning that the purple monster isn't affected and has full polyp extension.

Alaska was cool. We there last 6 years ago and the glacier definitely has received it since then.

Reboot tank about 10 mo ago
Took that long for the water to be right to grow sps again.
Yea you old school guys know what I mean
Same old tank
Same old rocks
About 4-5 sps survived. All my fish ok but lossed my flame of 10+ years a month or so ago.

I should have got rid of all rock and started with a blank canvas to work with. Oh well
I'm doing a no water change method. Guess it's like the Dutch synthetic salt method...... kinda of.
Added new toys
Radion G3 x3
New skimz skimmer (rated for 200 gal )
New kalk reactor
More pumps for flow
Zeovit reactor ( not following method but using reactor to grow the anaerobic bacteria to feed sps .... I'm not sure of that)
New is just new to tank I'm cheap and buy used...lol

So far very happy with color and PE ( I never got this kinda of PE before)
I like to start from 1 in frags so only the old sps are of any size.
Expect for the purple monster which is still small.

I know right?
Took forever for it to be able to grow frags again.
Did countless water changes
Tank just wasn't stable to grow sps
In the mean time the others took advantage of the lack of sps and claimed all the empty space.
I had to pull out half of it out

Well at lease that red algae didn't survive
