Yet another anthias question...

This forum has been flooded with these questions lately, but I have another to ask...

Does anyone here have a single or group of Pseudanthias parvirostis? Also known as diadem, sunset (not sunburst), or yellow stripe anthias.
How hardy are they?
Any concerns?
Will they get along with and/or school with female P. ignitus? Will the ignitus recognize the diadem male as the harem's male, or will one of them become a male?
If one of the ignitus becomes a male, will it fight with the diadem?

Also: I picked up my ywg today. He's in qt and looks angry (I would be too). Should I drop a small container of sand in there for him?

How is your YWG acting? Has he eaten yet? I'm curious because I just dropped one into QT also but I haven't seen him eat.

I have a small YWG in QT right now. He's in a specimen container with a bit of sand a some LR rubble. The container has holes to allow flow. It hangs in the 20g QT.

He eats hardily off the end of the pipette. (small mysis soaked in garlic & vitachem). But it did take him a couple of days to settle down.

My ywg is pale, but eating now. Not much, but he'll take bites of food that come near him. He's acting more like a ywg ought to, but his color is starting to fade. I'm a bit concerned.

I have kept Parvis. They are extremely shy and rarely come out into the water column. They eat quickly and if if properley QT'd are hardy but....due to their shy nature they are not a worthy addition to a reef IMO. HTH.

Thanks Matt. From the pics I've seen, they're my favorite anthias. And they're relatively cheap (at least from Marine Center, the only place I can seem to find them). I'll stick to my ignitus and bartlettorum then.
