Can I have the pendant laying on the glass canopy?(its not a oak hood or anything just 2 glass panels) Would theyre be any problems with that? Also, how big on average do derasa and maxima get? I know crocea on average get about 6 inches, how big do hippopus get? Thanks I know im bugging all of you with quesitions but i want to get this right. THANKS A BUNCH!!

depending on the depth of the tank and what wattage you are going with but you could have a heat problem.

Its a 250 watt HQI pendant, and its 18 inches deep.

Maxima will get slightly larger than crocea with a size of around 12-14. The hippo will get a max size of 15 inches and the derasa will reach 2 feet. Hope this helps
