Your aquarium is a bit small. This concerns me not from a flow stand point as we can work their but from a bulk of pumps stand point. For this reason I would be inclined to recommend the top mounted 2002 motors. These motors are not as visible in the aquarium, however you will hear the air cooling fan noise- a low hum, similar to the cooling fan on your computer. You will also need to change the bearings every few years. The 2002 pumps are very well built and with regular service every couple years can last indefinitely, however it is an expensive option compared to an Electronic pump as the control mechanism is more complicated and more expenisve, you would need 7082/2 which runs about $250 in addition to the pumps at $200 a piece. An alternate suggestion would be to use 1 7210/2 which would cost a total of $200 and includes the controller, these pumps are roughly the size of a Hagen 802. You could use this in conjuction with a SeaSwirl on your return or just a broad return jet and achieve good flow. You could use 2 7200/2 and a multicontroller 7094 but this would be a lot of pump to hide. Heat would not be a concern as these pumps use only 12W and are very energy efiicient. It will be your decision but in smaller set ups the top mounted pumps offer the advantage of being more hideable.
