Yikes!!!

Last nite we took a tiny flashlight into our room where the tank is and we saw these little white things coming our of our frags and live rock then their tentacles came out they had 2 each and they were sooo long they were reaching out.. Even this morning there out we found white and black striped (tenticles or worms) not sure kind of hard to see

Just wondering if anyone had any clue what these were or any site we could check out??

Hard to guess w/o a pic but maybe spaghetti worms? Were the tentacles hair thin and long? Although they usually have more than two.

the legs are coming out of a frag their black and white striped and theres little hairs or sticks coming out of them

Sounds like micro stars, but possibly ctenophores?

I have the same things...I am guessing some kind of brittle/serpent stars.

At first I thought they were Caribbean hitchhikers, but now I see them on a Discosoma rock.

They are definitely not the usual micro-stars...larger, and the white/black striped legs are very distinctive.

Leslie, any idea?

All of my, what I thought to be micro stars, have banded white/black legs also. Mine came from the LFS on a piece of rock that had a variety of 'shrooms, green striped, red and some I don't know of.
