Chris, the tank is looking GREAT!
so what do you mean "the sump failed"? It cracked? busted a seam, ???
Man thats gotta suck. Wont the insurance cover that? mine does.
Unless you have flood ins. if the water comes from outside (rain, snow, ground water) home owners ins. will not cover damage. He said the water came up through the concrete seams, this would not be covered by almost all homeowners ins.
I did read that. I was asking because I have it in my policy.
Sent from my reef tank and my skim doesn't stink.
Awesome tank, especially the way you arranged the rockwork.
The motor gave out. My dumb mistake .... I did not have an emergency back up! I do now! Once it stopped pumping the tile drains got overwhelmed and the water pressure pushed water up through the seams in the basement floor around the perimeter. Recovery crew came and pulled out all the wet padding, pulled off base molding and dried carpet with fans. They are here today reinstalling padding and restrectching carpet.
Overall I got off lucky!
We actually have an extra rider on our homeowners that covers sump pump failure. The deductible is higher ... $1,000 but we are at least covered. The bill from the crew that cleaned up is around $3,000 so it helped a lot to get insurance coverage!
wow...nice pic up..hopefully you can get/keep it close to their color. they do photoshop a lil to their pics, but its will be similar to the pic.... and thumbs up on the ren and stimpy profile pic...
