So I stopped at burtons in cranberry for dog food and looked at their saltwater tanks and its usually comical pricing selection etc but today I see this staring back at me...

Labeled as "Hermit Crab w/2 anenome 20.00"....

Think its reef safe?

Eh. I wouldn't chance it. Some of those huge hairy legged hermits can be known to catch smaller fish and make a meal out of them while they hide for the night. I've seen one actually get ahold of a smaller humu picasso trigger and eat him. Just nuts

if he doesn't knock off all your stuff, those dang anemone's will probably start to take over your tank, and now you have an aiptasia-like nem problem all over your tank. Even if not, they're mobile, so I'm sure they'd have a great opportunity to do some serious damage. I don't use any hermits in my tanks at all anymore due to their destructive (read bull-dozer like) tendencies.
