Been at this hobby for 40 years,and just finished setting up my 29 last week with the livestock in the FO/wlr. Thought I'd get the fish on their way with some good feedings twice a day. 2 days ago i walked past the tank and thought,"is that tank a little cloudy?". Na, just my imagination.Yesterday same thing,but this time looked more cloudy. Test kit,everythings ok water wise. Nuts, I've over fed again in a new tank. Put the fish on a diet , and 24 hrs. later it looks a little better,but fish will have to get used to small feedings a while.

possible Alk OD? that will do it. how old is your test kit? or to much circulation stirring up sand bed.

I'm sure it's a bacteria bloom,the tank has been running long enough that the gravel is stable and the ak is ok. Going to do a water change today and cut the feeding down and it should clear.
