Your best fishes that you keep!

Def my copperband butterfly was a pain getting him to eat prepared foods he totally nuked the apasita population in the tank, always looking and poking now he eats out of my hand.

I like this butterfly so much, but I tried one time to keep him with no luck, maybe I will try again.

Good luck!
I'm 0-3 on CBB. I have some fish that are 2 weeks post TTM right now.
There are about 10 CBB at my LFS that have been there at least 2 weeks.
If there are any left next week, I am going to try again.

Just make sure they are from Australia, although I have corals I will also put the fish first when, I got him I struggled to find what he liked I saw him picking at snails and that gave me the idea to try fresh clams and oysters he loved them, that was the turning point and then he learned my hand in the tank meant food was coming he now will literally swim into my hands and follows me when I clean the tank hoping I'll stir up some food, I was probably feeding the tank 4 times a day and I would offer food or seweed to the other fish while I fed him on his own they are not pushy eaters and will be crowded out by bossy fish.

Have had my copperband over two years now going strong, will only eat hikari mysis shrimp enriched with vita chem. He will compete with every fish in my tank for food, including a tang and swallow tail angel. Took me just over a month before it started eating regularly. Love this fish.

Last time I tried, the guy at the grocery store fish counter was curious enough to ask why I wanted just 2 clams. He was so surprised at my answer he gave them to me as 'samples' !
CBB liked them as much as I do, which is not at all.
We shall see what the next attempt brings.

What type of clam were they? I find that my angels will ignore certain clams. Seems the clams on half shell that are tiny in comparison to little necks work best

I use these bigger ones and just toss half shell into the tank. Pick it up next day.

wrasse, moorish idol, regal angel all seem to love it

They were generic white clams about 1" in diameter. As I mentioned, I am not a fan of clams, so type is pretty meaningless to me.
They have worked for other BF like my Pakistani and Dot-Dash, as well as a few angels.
I jsut seem to have bad luck with CBB's. Maybe 2016 is my year.
