I love the long nose hawkfish. How are they with mixed reefs? it says with caution

yup, you can't have them with shrimp but i have never had a problem with them as far as nipping corals or anything else. they are very peaceful, in my experience.
 
I had a long nose hawk he never bothered my shrimp or crabs/snail keep him well fed won't have any issues.

my first one lived with a big cleaner shrimp for over a year. when i added the second hawkfish, the shrimp became a buffet.
