I think they are a problem with shrimp.. I know other hawkfish are....

yup, you can't have them with shrimp but i have never had a problem with them as far as nipping corals or anything else. they are very peaceful, in my experience.

I had a long nose hawk he never bothered my shrimp or crabs/snail keep him well fed won't have any issues.

my first one lived with a big cleaner shrimp for over a year. when i added the second hawkfish, the shrimp became a buffet.

This tank is just about 26 months old, as I had a seam go on me right before xmas 2014.

This guy is my favorite, I have one died after moving him from the quarantine, he did not eat in the display tank
