I know this topic comes up pretty frequently, but...

can owners of 24g cubes (mine is the JBJ) or similar gallonage cube, share what fish they keep, and any word of wisdom?

Thanks!

Fish I have:

Yellow Watchman Goby

Blue Assesor

Blue Bar Pseudochromis

Red Firefish

Onyx Clown

Cherub Angel

Neon Goby

Fish I have had and regretted:

Clarki Clown - They get big and aggressive.

Flame Angel - Unique diet, not enough space.

Cardinalfish - Try to find the tank raised, the wild caught ones have bad survival rates.

Neon Goby - Small and bland.

Fish I would like to have in the future:

Midas Blenny: I wish I would have picked this over the YWG

Blackcap Basslet - If I didn't have the Assesor I would have gotten this guy.

When I had my 24g Pod running it held my true percula, yellow watchman & purple firefish (added in that order) They all did well, and are now sharing the new tank peacefully :)

No fuge. I run Chemi-Pure, Phosban and Purigen in the back chambers, weekly 5 gallon waterchanges and a good cleanup crew. Zero on all of the bad levels (Nitrate, phosphate) and no algae growing but a lot of the fish are still small.

For what it's worth I am going to take out the Angel (Which was a gift from a friend - stupid fish likes to chase the firefish) and the neon goby (kinda boring). Might try a tank raised cardinal then and stop after that. I just don't want to deal with removing the rocks and finding someone to take the angel so I've been putting it off.

7 is to much but I think 6 is possible if you keep up on everything.

I'm going to try a coral beauty in mine. Fish kinda fell in my lap for next to nothing. And I've been QTing a flame angel for my 70g, so he can't go in there with the flame.
