Are these hardy clowns as far as shipping? do they usually come in with brooks?

I want 2 of them and ready to pull the trigger pending your opinions.

you'd better be hurry though if you want me not to buy them :D

Also, IF you decide to give them a try I would recommend getting smaller one's. For me, they were able to handle the move and stress much better!

My experience with Allardi is they are a pretty tough clown! One of my local fish shops gets them in on a regular basis because of their hardiness. I believe them to very comperable to to A. chrysopterus in beauty but much more resilient.

David,

yes i am more interested in smaller ones as i like to see them grow. I grow my Purple tang from the size of a nickle and now is ~3".

Winwood,
thanks and do they come in with blue stripes? some of them only have a "hint" of blue on the stripes but i am more into the more obvious blue.

QT for brook as you should any clown and they will be fine. I have three. They have been rock solid.

oh yeah ! like the clown pic. i think i will go for it, and will make sure the dealer get me small ones.

Dan, are the stripes more blue in real life? they do look blue in the pic.

They are kept under URI actinic whites. There is some bluish hue, but not much. More than my sebae, but way less than my chrysopterus. An LFS seems to have them regularly. They had some larger ones, but I did not notice any really blue hues. My largest is about 2.5 inches (not in pic). Good luck.
