I have been going to Your reef.com for serveral times now and just recently I went there again, so its time for a review of the store.

1, SPS frags: he has a good selection including some nice torts frag $55 per frag, and tyrie birdnest ($100 for a 1" frag) .... the price is very high IMO ... I think some of store owners make a mistake of over pricing the coral for their bight color/popularity instead of for what its worth and that sometime can turn off customers. They call if supply and demand but I call it ....... :D :D price it resonablely and the corals will sell faster than they can restock it.

2, Zoos selections can be hit or miss, the problem that I have found is time and time again, I found infestation of Zoos eating nudi branch, and Sundial snails. I have emailed him in the past about it but the problem still continue. Some poor unsuspected reefer could be loosing tons of Zoos right now without knowing why. This is very unfortunate. Tub Blue zoos were $10 per pollups ... Yike!!!! When mine grow out I will set you guys up :D :D right now I only have 6 pollups

3, fish selection is decent and price is great for example: a flame angle is only $39.00 and the fish seems to be healthy. Anthias $19.99 .... ect

4, Dry goods is very limmited since the store is very small.

Over all the trip was very dissapointing, he seems to have raises price on everything and are not taking good care of the stock to make sure it is pest free. Who knows his Sps could even have flat worms and reg bugs I didn't look at them close enough to see.

By the way I am still looking for blue tort :D :D who got some ?? :D :D

Unfortunately stores can not dip all wild colonies of Zoanthids enough times to get rid of all parasites and there eggs. Especially not with $10-$12 frags. Your reef does dip all wild Zoas at least once but that is not always enough. You can bet that's more than 99% of the other stores out there are doing. With wild corals stores find it impossible to clear up every potential problem no matter how much they would like to. That's why all serious hobbyist and or collectors dip and QT there corals. I know I never trust anyones corals. I even dip my best friends and business associates Rare Acroporas before placing them in my display.

Also, Your Reef does have collector tanks with rare Zoas, LPS and Acros on a separate System from the wild corals. All corals put into that system are dipped and inspected and Guaranteed to be parasite free. Most of Your reefs rare Corals are tank raised and all in the Collector tanks are Guaranteed to be free of Parasites. However they are not in the $10-$15 price range.
