Those look great, I really like acans.

I'm thinking about setting up a small coral tank at work, something along the lines of a 29g. I know they are harder to maintain than a big tank but I'd like to have one sitting here in my office, help keep me calm and soothed I'd definitely stock it with some acans and a couple clams.

A reef tank in the office would be a wonderful thing. Tremendously soothing.

I consider myself a sps guy, but I've been developing a fondness for acans and chalices. Their colors and textures make for visually intriguing photographs.

Got one in my office, I actually wanted to get a larger tank since the electricity is free, bottled water is free and the temperature here is always consistant.

My nano is about 18 gallons with a few SPS's. I'm surprised how they thrive.

Temperature is always between 74-79ºF here.

What kind of lens did you use for those shots?

Take the 320 to work! It would give new meaning, or location anyway, to gathering around the water cooler. You know your coworkers would think it's cool. They probably love your nano.

Thank you. Canon EOS 50D. A fair amount of the awesomeness is due to the lens (Canon EF 100mm f2.8 macro USM).

zef004, let me be a bit more specific. Yes, the macro lens is what allows me to fill the viewfinder with the palys and focus. However, other factors, such as having the lighting right, a good camera to record the image the lens lets in and not butchering the image post processing all play a part in making that shot look good. Simply having a nice lens does not guarantee success (unfortunately!).
