Yuma and ric crazy

i was a t a LFS yesturday and they had this riduclous looking ric in there...well to me it was anyway...

it was in a 150 gallon 48"x48"x14" frag tank that you look down on..and there was loose frags all over the tank...

anyway...the ric was off to the coner all by him self, kinda out of the light (one 250 watt reefoptic pendent 10000K dead centre of the tank about 20" up) and this thing was flouresent yellow..pretty much glowing...it was unbelievable...if it is still there on friday i am going to get it...it was about 1.5" across and he only wanted 25 bucks tax in for it... he also had a really cool blue-green coloured colony and one loose one of it aswell i might get too..they were florida ric's

but the yellow was unreal...i asked him if it was bleached and he said no..it came from his buddies tank of which he has about ten more all the same colour...for a long time now...plus this guy said he only sells aquacultured stuff...and has very few wild animals..

anyway, my fingers are crossed it is still there on friday...post pay day..my only problem is i have to pick it up on my way to work, cause i am not driving an hour to get it come home and then drive that exact same hour to get back to work...damn afternoon shift sucks..you guys think it will be okay on my tool box at work for a 10 hour shift...it is i will keep him boed up with a heat pack...but the factory is plenty heated anyway..

I have one in my tank thats flourescent yellow.. Bright as all get out. It used to be a colored up beauty of a rainbow yuma until it bleached into bright banana yellow =\ just a heads up in case you might be getting "damaged" goods

Cateyes ,

Would you mind going into detail about your tank right down to your subtrate choices. Really liking the way you have your tank set up. And of course more pics.

hey Craig, i found this previous thread on my tank. it has a lot of info in it along with some pics. if something specific isn't covered, i'll be glad to answer it for you... Lisa

i don't think the substrate is addressed, it's Carib Sea Indo-Pacific.
